About Us
The Immigration Community Alberta Network (ICAN) Association , established in 2015, is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting immigrants and newcomers, in achieving full participation in the community and gaining the skills needed to enrich their lives in Canada. Over the years, as a grassroot organization, ICAN has initiated and hosted more than 1,000 events that include training classes for various age groups, hobby clubs, cultural activities, seminars, and information sessions in the local community.
The ICAN Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to unlocking people’s potential, empowering them to grow, lead, and give back to their communities.
ICAN Association’s events and services give immigrants all the help and support they need to begin their new lives. Our services include how to learn or improve English, information sessions about their new community and settlement advice and assistance, all at no cost.
Inclusiveness. Integrity. Kindness. Optimism. Respect.
